STUDIO 4 is a 700+ square foot studio available for recitals and group classes starting at $75 / use / $45 per hour additional. Includes use of Yamaha C3 Grand Piano.

Long term practice license agreements available in packages for individuals or groups who qualify

Rates & Terms are negotiated for individuals who:

• UW-graduate student musicians interested in studio teaching space for 1 or 2 semesters receive discounted rates.

Resident Teachers may be eligible to receive Studio Share benefits, including:

• Use of Studio 4 for studio recital

• Student Referral Service

  • If you would like help building your student base, we can help with that! We will put together a marketing package, and help you find the right channels for building your studio.

• Studio Management services ($70 first hour, negotiable / hour thereafter)

All Studios are premium studio spaces that are maintained to the highest professional standards.

Part of what you pay for is instrument maintenance.

Studio Share Madison policies and agreements disclosure notes:

all individuals who enter into license agreements for shared studio space from Studio Share Madison are adult, professionals who teach or" “create” and/or musicians who, in that capacity, are not an employee of Shads Piano LLC d/b/a Studio Share Madison. As such, Studio Share Madison does not control (your) services. Individuals must claim income for lessons as required by law. As a shared incubator space, Studio Share Madison may not be held liable for taxes or other fees incurred by individual teachers. Shads Piano LLC licenses the use of the studio and facilities for which individuals agree to pay an agreed upon fee which may include a partially or wholly refundable security deposit. Individuals may be required to maintain personal/professional liability and other insurance - although we, Studio Share Madison, maintain basic liability insurance. Personal private property should not be left on site - it is not covered under our insurance. Individuals who plan to sell goods must manage their own, independent seller’s permit as required by Wisconsin State Law.

Policies and agreements enforced by Studio Share Madison are intended to create an amicable professional environment for musicians to enjoy and share equitably.
