Craig Jorgan
Craig Jordan is originally from Ames, Iowa, He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Iowa in the studio of Dr. Rène Lecuona.
Craig completed a Master of Music degree at the University of Miami studying with Professor Tian Ying where he had the privilege of performing the Seaborne Concerto for percussion sextet, orchestra, and film as a winner of the 2021 concerto competition. He received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Lawrence Conservatory of Music in the studio of Dr. Catherine Kautsky where he was awarded Lawrence University’s Marjory Irvin Prize for Excellence in Piano Performance.
Craig is currently Associate Lecturer of Piano/Collaborative Pianist at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
We are excited to welcome Craig to Madison for our second Suite Autumn Festival in November 2026.

The number of applicants received to date will be posted here beginning September 15, 2026.

There will be a limit of 40 registrants. Registration will be based upon postmark, first come first serve.

The Suite Autumn Festival aims to expand the discourse on baroque and baroque-inspired music for youth pianists. Our goal is to bring teachers, students, and parents/guardians to an awareness of the essential nature of the baroque era as it informs the entire history of the piano.
Many modern and contemporary composers found inspiration in baroque dance forms, inventions, toccatas, and more. We invite entries to include the best teaching works by the Bach family, especially JS Bach, CPE Bach, and JC Bach, as well as a wider array of composers - notably Elisabetta da Gambarini, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, and others.
