7:00-7:50 - Very Motivated Students - Must perform one full, well-prepared solo piece

 EB (Early Beginner) Kindergarten through grade 2. In my newsletter earlier this semester, I listed standards for 1st and 2nd year students. This class is set up to reinforce those skills with small group games so that all of my students can demonstrate progress with:

-        Time Signatures

-        Note Reading – level appropriate note reading will be covered based upon who signs up for each class

WEST UNIVERSITY AVENUE OPTIONS 

Wednesday January 21

4:15-5:00 - Early Beginner

6:00-6:45 - Intermediate Level

7:45-8:45 - Older Students - We will perform, then do ear training exercises (level 4+)

District Auditions are typically held at either the beginning or end of Spring Break.

b.   Held at the UW School of Music

All of my students must be confirmed with me no later than February 1. Registration has begun for this event.

Note that all of my students will be learning a three piece program, but if you will be away for spring break I will not register you for this event.

My goal is to have each of my youth students enter District Auditions with a 3- piece memorized program, and to pass their developmentally appropriate theory test. For students who are able to coordinate a piano duet, I would like them to additionally present a piano duet as part of their audition.

District Auditions are held on the UW Campus in the music school (Mosse / Humanities) building.

The fee for District Audition is $30, which includes all books and the event entry fee.
